Entry #4

Day three
The day started with a ig lecture from Mr. Mead. My group then completed the Rundle Mall investigation apart from one question. We then traveled off to the World Vision talk. I found it fairly interesting. We were told statistics, about different situations that World Vision is facing worldwide, and how World Vision responds to them. Most importantly though, most of the questions in the booklet were answered. Because the Central Markets were closed yesturday, we went to them again today to complete the investigation which was exactly what we did. Part of the investigat
ion was to eat a meal in the food court and describe it. So we had lunch there and finished that part of the booklet. I think that the three things that I enjoyed most about city week was going to the Central Markets and eating there, going to Rundle Mall eating and doing a bit of browsing after we finished our investiagtion and finally the interview at the Adelaide Convention Center because Mr. Bethely was such a nice man. After our stop at the Market we went back to the Mall for some more food. At about twelve, we went back to Pilgrim Hall to get changed and travel to City Beach where we played beach volleyball for a good three quaters of an hour. All groups participated in this event. The sand was burning and the sun scorched down. It was horrible having to put our shoes back on again because our feet were all sandy and sticky but dry at the same time. It was fun, but a little too hot fore enjoyment. There was half an hour of investigation before heading back to Pilgrim Hall to sign out and go home.

Day two
Today was my second day in the city. I had to sign in as everyone did before I leave the Pilgrim Hall. We started the day by going straight to the Central Market. Not all the stalls had opened yet, and the food court was also closed so we were unable to complete our investigation.
We walked down to the Town Hall for that tour which we were booked into. That only went for half an hour, and was cut even shorter due to the fact that our group needed to go to an interview at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Mr Gair Bethely was the person that we were set to interview. He was the head of training and development. We squeezed a fair amount of information out of him.
After we had an interview with Mr Gair Bethely, we headed to the State library. We started walking down there and me, James and Giorgio accidently left Sam by himself. But luckly we ended up doung the tour together. I found the tour very boring, as the giude kept on teach us how to use machines and what are they for. I alreday knew about those stuff that he taught us we didnt get much informatiion for our booklets. Because of the incident on the way to the Library, we had to stay at the hall for the rest of the day, which wasnt long thankfully.

After few hours, Mr Mead to let us go out and get some lunch, he finally let us go to the food court a few streets across from Pilgrim Hall. All of our group members were very hungry. I had a Cheese burger meal and a subway! The rest of the day was spent filling out our booklets and reading books in the shadows of Pilgrim Hall.
